We will be beginning virtual classes and education starting on February 1st 2021. We will continue with virtual classes until lock-down orders are lifted in Ontario or until we are advised otherwise by the Province. I know this is disappointing to many, but rest assured we will have you back onsite as soon as it is possible.
The virtual classes will be held on zoom. The classes will include a warm up, resistance training exercises and stretching as well as a question and answer period if anyone needs to address something. I might even tell a few jokes! For those in the virtual program, follow-up phone calls are also permitted to address any questions that you have which you do not feel comfortable sharing as a group. I rolled this program out for the new intakes two weeks ago and we have had a lot of great feedback on it so far.
The schedule for the virtual exercise classes will be:
Monday and Wednesdays 9am (to accommodate early morning exercisers)
Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays 5pm (to accommodate those who are still working)
Mondays and Wednesdays – 10am for education lectures (a schedule will follow and be posted on our website and Facebook page)
Please note, you are also free to join in on any of classes but it would be best if we can keep the same groups together. Meaning if you elect Monday and Wednesdays, please try to stay in your group. This is so classes don’t get over crowded and we all have a chance to participate. Education is open to anyone.
Please conform no later than Monday January 25th about your attendance and time. This is mandatory for participation. The program will cost $25 a month. If you are paying by cheque you can drop it off at Healthy Hearts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
